About Access Reproductive Care – Southeast

ARC-Southeast was co-founded by 3 Black clinic workers in Atlanta to eliminate barriers to accessing abortions that they noticed as health workers. The co-founders saw a need to make the experience of getting an abortion as worry-free as possible, being rooted in radical love for our region. They are a reproductive justice organization based in Atlanta, Georgia that simultaneously funds abortions and builds power in the Southeast.

ARC-Southeast provides funding and logistical support to ensure Southerners receive safe and compassionate reproductive care including abortion services. Through education and leadership development, they build power in communities of color to abolish stigma and restore dignity and justice.

They envision a world where all Southerners have full access to care and support around their reproductive health decisions without biases or barriers.

Since 2016, ARC-Southeast has completed over 24,000 intakes for Southerners living in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, South Carolina, and Tennessee.
